Urban Wildlife Rescue, Inc., located in Denver, Colo., saves approximately 10-12 thousand lives a year using their "Humane Solutions to Wildlife Problems". They use various repellants, exclusion and eviction techniques. Urban Wildlife Rescue is manned by two licensed Rehabilitators. They rehabilitate medium-sized mammals on down, including bats and spotted skunks.

Penny is co-founder and President of Urban Wildlife Rescue, Inc. She has had over 10 years of first-hand experience with fur-bearing mammals and is a Colorado State licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Because of her close interaction with the wildlife, she has a wealth of information that is not found in the average biology book. She is an articulate, entertaining, dynamic, and enthusiastic teacher, popularly known as "The Bat Lady."

Jack Murphy is co-founder and Director of Urban Wildlife Rescue, Inc. He is an innovative, expert humane trapper with over 20 years of experience. He is also a Colorado State licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Jack Murphy is in high demand as a lecturer and educator and has spoken about: wildlife rehabilitation; wildlife first aid; humane trapping methods; urban wildlife; how to find, pull and destroy illegally set body gripping traps; and humane solutions to wildlife problems.

The numerous requests for his presentations come from: schools, homeowner's associations, local and national animal control agencies, local and national Parks and Recreation departments, local and national police departments, and more.

He has written, "Humane Solutions to Wildlife Problems", which are packets of information discussing species specific humane methods of evicting an animal, thereby eliminating the need to trap. His informational packets have been published in several local and national publications and are currently being used by numerous animal control agencies and humane organizations throughout the country.
